Tanya Rankin video blogs about how another agent wanted to present an offer to her seller and why sometimes it may not be the best idea.
Tanya Rankin: Good morning it's Tanya Rankin in Williams Lake. Sometimes in real estate a buyer's agent will want to present their own offer. So the seller's agent is the person that has the sign in their front yard their the listing agent and the buyer agent is the person that was working with the potential buyer that has decided to make an offer on that property and it's a completely common practice, it's allowed and sometimes even encourage especially encourage if it's a multiple offers situation or if there's something a little bit unique that the buyer really wants presented to the seller that you know only their realtor would know because of the relationship they established with them. And the seller's usually have a great relationship with the realtor they're working with and they've had good communication report etc. So sometimes the seller isn't comfortable having a buyer's agent coming to their house or they may have a bad experience. There could be a million reasons why and in this case they try to advice the buyer's agent in doing that and they were insistent. Unfortunately came in presented the offer in a way that a seller may found defensive and ended up rejecting the offer which I, I always encourage my clients to counter or to work with an offer. But in this case they were so upset they just out right rejected it and it's just a good lesson learn that seller's agent if she's doing a great job probably has a certain level of trust and communication with their client. So you may wanna trust someone they suggest maybe let them present that offer. If you have any questions send me an email anytime to tanya@tanyarankin.com and I hope you have a fantastic week!
