Tanya Rankin video Blogs About Williams Lake Being Mentioned as Having One Of The Best Hiking Trips In British Columbia
Tanya Rankin: Hi, it’s Tanya Rankin in Williams Lake. I stumbled across this book the other day, Best Hiking Trips in British Columbia. I’ve always loved Hiking and walking and I thought it would kind of fun to see where they might recommend somebody planning a little bit of a hiking trip and I flipped it open to page 1 and the first section is the best hikes for families and they mention 5 places. And lo and behold the 3 rd on the list is the Williams Lake River Valley trail. I thought it was absolutely so cool, its talks about how kids will enjoy all the different bridges, the beaver dam, history about where the Fraser river meets the Williams creek. And i personally think that it’s something i should be so proud of; we are in one of these great areas and it’s kind of a hidden gem here in the Cariboo. I know I bragged earlier this year about it having the second most number of hours of sunshine in the province of British Columbia, and now we’re getting mentioned about having the best hiking and walking trails. So I think it’s a really great place to live and if you have any questions send me an email anytime to tanya@tanyarankin.com and I hope you have a fantastic week!
