Tanya Rankin Discusses The Effects Of Mother Nature On The Williams Lake Real Estate Market
Tanya Rankin: Hi it’s Tanya Rankin in Williams Lake. The market is really slow moving right now it’s a really interesting market and Williams Lake definitely gets affected by the weather pattern and this winter were having a record breaking year for snowfall. There is heaps of snow here it actually appears like you’ve arrived at a ski resort. We have way more snow than we feel on your way up to Sun Peaks or some other resort surround the area but what happens with real estate here in the Cariboo is when there’s an excess amount of either really cold temperatures or a real wintery winter lots of snow, lots of slash, melting, freezing, icy icy conditions. We find activity really slows down and that is happening here right now. Not only are they not quite as many buyers out there, there is definitely a shortage of inventory on the market but what that does mean is there are some really great properties at great prices. A lot of nice price reductions have happened and if you’re looking to buy as long as you don’t need to look a ton of homes the ones that are out there are good quality opportunities and price really well so great time to buy and that will increase in inventory as we start seeing some of the white stuff melt away. If you have any questions send me an email anytime to tanya@tanyarankin.com and I hope you have a fantastic week!
