Your realtors job is to advise you on getting it priced right
Tanya Rankin: Hi Good morning! It’s Tanya Rankin in Williams Lake. I can still tell probably within the first three weeks whether a homes been priced right properly where it needs to be in order to sell. Its based on the number of phone calls I get, the number of emails I get, and especially on the number of showings. And lots of times what happens is I give a market price and an evaluation but the home owner maybe wants to try it just a little bit higher than what I feel that we should listed at and of course if its way too high off and I won’t take the listing but if its within the reasonable amount we’ll give it a try and test the water. But my job as a professional is to advise my clients accurately with proper market information. And that also means coming to them after that three week period if we haven’t got that kind of activity we need to result and getting your home sold and sitting down with you and talking about a price reduction. There’s only one opportunity to make a good first impressions. So its so important that we keep that in mind when were pricing if you have any questions at all.
