Tanya Rankin: Hi, it’s Tanya Rankin in Williams Lake. Sometimes when I go into a listing presentation I end up in a negotiation debate or negotiation process with my sellers. I think that often they feel that if they can convince me there house is worth more that somehow that’s going to convince a prospective buyer. Where the reality is my job as a professional is to provide you with accurate information so you can make an informed decision and the time to negotiate is not with me the realtor. I even had a client last week that said “Come on give me a really good price and I’ll be really happy” but what they would seem to overlook is that I can give you any price you want but I only really make you happy when I successfully sell your home.
