Tanya talks about how the Williams Lake market appears to be staying true to her prediction and the usual seasonal trend
Tanya Rankin: Hi! It’s Tanya Rankin in Williams Lake. Little bit wet right now here in Williams Lake but needless to say the real estate market never sleeps. So might as well carry on with our regular weekly video blog and this week is the time where I always update you on the market and what’s happening here over the past ten business days. So we had 32 new listings, we’ve had 12 price reductions and 12 homes that have successfully sold and actually some of those sales I was going through them each one independently are some fairly nice higher end homes. So that’s kind a great that means their are some good strong activity out there and again the 12 sales is getting up to that 50% bracket that I kind a like to see here in the Cariboo. Where the 50% of the sale is equal the number of new listings so were getting to close to that again which I sort of expected bringing into the fall weather and the fall market. It always brings a little bit activity and other thing I’m really noticing right now. Is that there’s a few homes that are vacant. A few more than normal and when I start seeing that it’s a trend that I really need to keep an eye on so that we can make sure we are price accurately and on top of where we see the market going. On that note if you have any questions at all. You can always email me at email@example.com. I hope you have a great week.
